Chen Mingyu is the Assitant Professor of the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. She received Ph. D degree from Tsinghua University, B.E degree from Tianjin University and went to Harvard University as a visiting scholar. She won numerous awards in urban design competitions and published a serious of influential academic papers.
Her research interests mainly focus on Urban Design & Mental Health and Neighborhoods Regeneration & Aging. As the project researcher, she participated the key program of the Natural Science Foundation of China in recent 5 years. Chen also has a great deal of urban design practice experience as principal participant, such as Macao Urban Development Strategy and Winter Olympics Chongli Overall Urban Design, etc.
