Mengdi Guo is an associate professor in the Faculty of Architecture at Tianjin University. She is the vice director of Research Innovation Services. Her research focuses on noise assessment in high density cities via measurement, simulation, and big data analytics, in support of the optimization of early-stage urban design and healthy city studies. She teaches bachelor architecture design studio. She received a PhD from the University of Hong Kong, a European Post-graduate Master in Urbanism from Delft University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University.
