Abstract:
To solve the problems Chinese rural residential faced today, we should not only rely on advanced technology and ideas, but also should pay more attention to the culture and wisdom in traditional dwellings. This research focused on traditional dwellings and new rural residence in Jian area of Jiangxi province, included two parts as " traditional dwellings modular analysis" and " prefabricated ecological rural residential design". Firstly, based on the original model of traditional dwelling through spot investigation, modular concept was introduced with theoretical analysis and software simulation for further quantitative research, which transformed the characteristic and experience into " space module adapt to behavior pattern", "ecological module adapt to climate environment", "construction module adapt to resource condition". Secondly, we used the building information model software to make modular models, which then updated and optimized by combining with current new life mode, new technical equipment, new construction method, especially the prefabricated building concept. This new modular model would organize space from real life and traditional dwelling culture, choose ecological strategy from modern technology and traditional experience, establish building system from prefabricated industry and traditional craft. Finally, these modules would be integrated again according to specific conditions, to explore the sustainable pattern of adaptive, ecological and regional prefabricated rural residential.
