Abstract：

Compact high-density residential district is an open model of residentialdistrict that conforms to the principle of “Small Block Residential Space”, and spatial mixing of residential functions is its important characteristics. New era interactive data pr ovides new research methods and tools for the research between city space form and its function. This study is based on numerical simulation and data analysis, and collects a variety of data that affect the mixed mode of the function space of the residential district. We can describe, explain, and predict the use of urban and residential district through qualitative and quantitative digital model.

And then the rational quantification and the high quality of the spatial form of the function of the mixed residential district will be realized which is aided by the data space model.

The research of this project is beneficial to the fine design of residential district and city，and also has theoretical research value and practical guidance for creating high quality living environment, strengthening the urban design and city management ability and stimulating the vitality of the city and the intensive use of land.
