Ye Yuan, Ph.D., has been an assistant research fellow at Tianjin University since 2021.
His research interests focus on low carbon building design and building physics. His
research topics cover thermal comfort, indoor environment quality, light and lighting,
computerized simulation, and passive design. His goal is to support and develop
practical planning and design to provide a more comfortable building environment for
people.
Ye Yuan has long been engaged in research on building physical environment. He has
participated in two National Key Research and Development Programs and one
National Natural Science Foundation of China Key Program. As the first author and
corresponding author, his work has been published in leading peer-reviewed scientific
journals as well as international conferences.
