Mr. Wang Lixiong works in building lighting where he specializes in the following skills amongst many others; interior space, lighting mode and luminosity & chrominance. His study deals with the evaluation of the visual comfortability and the application of the study in real design.
Urban lighting is another key area of Mr. Wang’s study and design. His most recent topic emphasizes the functional value of nightscape lighting.
Mr. Wang also works in building energy efficiency. In this area, not only has there been a more comprehensive evaluation, however progress has been made in the direction of building energy consumption, which has further extended to green building technology evaluation solely from the benefits of resources and environment.
Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor of Applied Physics Science degree, which he obtained in 1985 from Tianjin University and holds a Master of Architectural Technology Science degree obtained in 1993 also from Tianjin University.
He has also supported China Illuminating Engineering Society as vice Chairman for the past 6 years and has simultaneously chaired the Tianjin Illumination Society for the past 8 years.
