Research Theme: Low-carbon Energy Solutions for Green Buildings
Dr. SUN Yong obtained his PhD degree on Environmental Chemical Engineering in Tianjin University in 2014, and then became a Research Associate in School of Architecture in the same University. He worked in Penglai Jutal Offshore Engineering Heavy Industries Co.ltd. as a Piping Engineer from Jul. 2008 to Jul. 2009, and in Tianjin Minghui New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. as a Quality Testing Engineer from Aug. 2009 to Aug. 2010; He worked in School of Architecture, Tianjin University as a Research Associate from Jul. 2014 to Mar. 2017 and as a Lecturer from Apr. 2017.
His research direction is renewable energy-supply solutions for green buildings and building integrated solar energy utilization technology.
40 papers were published by him in international and domestic journals (including 10 in the Top Journals, 24 SCI/EI papers). Dr. Yong Sun was granted 3 innovative patents and 3 architecture design competition awards were won under his guidance.
