Research Theme: Soft Environment Design of Residential Settlements, Urban Art Design, Traditional Design
CHEN Gaoming received Ph.D degree from Tianjin University, master’s degree from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, bachelor's degree from Tianjin University of Science&Technology. CHEN has published City Art Design, Ideological Trends and Movements of Modern Art, Styles and Schools of Modern Design, Environmental Art Design, A Brief History of Modern Art Design, Visual Design Basis(Sketch Volume)，etc. Meanwhile, he published more than 20 papers in various architectural academic journals, hosted and participated in 9 research project, including national and provincial level. CHEN’s public art work won the third prize in the National Exhibition of Environmental Art Design in 2013, and his space model design was given silver award in the forth Young Designers Design Exhibition.
