Dr. MI Xiaoyan graduated from the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies, Kyushu University, Japan. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Urban and Rural Planning, at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. Her research interests focus on the mathematical analysis and computation on urban spatial form, quantitative measurement on the psychology and behavior of a pedestrian’s environment, and quantitative analysis on the value of regional position and environmental changes for the large-scaled commercial facilities.
