Ze LI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban and Rural Planning at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. He obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore with full fellowship. Professor Li’s teaching and research interests include Urban Form, Land Economy and Property Institution, Urban/Rural Planning and Design, Ecological Planning and Green City. As a scholar, he is widely published in these subjects, particularly in leading Chinese journals as well as English books, and has received grants from the national research foundation of China. As an urban designer and planner, he also practices both domestically and internationally, and has won considerable international bids and competitions.
