Zhang Xiangwei is an Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. Her main research field is the comparison between Western and Chinese modern architecture and regional architecture. She currently teaches architecture design and the history of modern architecture in China for the undergraduate students. Her recent research projects are on the Chinese modern architecture theorists.
Zhang Xiangwei holds a Master’s in Architecture and a Doctor of Engineering degree, both obtained from Tianjin University. She was also a visiting scholar at Iowa State University in America from 2012-2013.
