Zhao Jinsong is a Professor of Architecture, Associate Head of the Architectural Design Research Center at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. His main research fields are Contemporary architectural design, Digital architectural design and Membrane architectural design.
Dr Jinsong holds a professional Bachelor’s degree from Taiyuan University of Technology, a Master’s degree of Engineering and an Engineering Doctorate from Tianjin University. He studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2010-2011 as a visiting scholar. He is currently working on various research topics on Contemporary architectural design, Digital architectural design and Membrane architectural design. He is also an experienced architect and urban planner, whose design works, and publications have won multiple national and provincial awards in Mainland China.
