Yiqian Yuan is an Associate Professor of Architecture and Director of the Institute of Architectural Education Research at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. She is in charge of the freshman studio of design foundation and also teaches the course on environmental psychology. Her major research fields are the relationship between built environment and human behaviour, especially for the aging, children, and special populations and post occupancy evaluation.
She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tianjin University and a Master of Engineering degree from Kobe University, Japan. She currently serves in the Council of Environment-Behaviour Research Association (EBRA) of China.
