Brief introduction
Qingpeng Li is currently an associate professor in Tianjin University. Before that, he worked in Nanjing University and University of Bath. Qingpeng has a background of both architecture and structural engineering, he got his Ph.D degree in architecture from Delft University of Technology (TUDelft) in 2018, and got his M.S. and B.S. in civil engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013 and 2011 respectively. One aspect of his research is about Structural Morphology, which is a discipline-crossing research between architecture and structural engineers. The other aspect of his research is about low-carbon-emission design and construction of building structures, which is of great importance in sustainable development of human beings. Multiple research methods (physical, analytical and numerical), clear concepts and rigorous logic can be seen in his research. So far, he has published more than 20 journal papers.
