Jing Ziyang is a Professor of Architecture and Chairman of the Professor Committee of the Architecture Department at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. His main research field is Architectural Design and Theories. He is dedicated to teaching and critiquing in design studios for undergraduates and graduates.
Jing Ziyang holds both Bachelor and Master’s Degrees of Engineering from Tianjin University. After graduating, he began his teaching career at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University and became a Professor in 2011. During his academic research and curriculum task period, he also designs many projects, some of which have won awards. He is also a multiple time award winner of the Haihe Cup, Tianjin Excellent Survey and Design Award. His additional award winnings include; Administrative Service Centre in New Campus of Tianjin University- won the first prize in 2017, Tianjin Digital Broadcasting Building- won the first prize in 2016 and Binhai Airport Enterprise Headquarter Section A- won the first prize in 2014.
