Dr. Feng Lin is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. Her main research field is modern architecture heritage from the perspectives of material, structure, construction based on the technology, concept and system. She also focuses on the relationship between architecture and body from phenomenology of perception, and explores the philosophy, culturology, sociology and anthropology in teaching and criticism.
Dr. Feng Lin obtained the professional Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Architecture and the Doctor of Engineering from Tianjin University. In 2015, she worked as a guest researcher for the Urban Knowledge Network Asia (UKNA) project at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. She is also a member of Architectural Society of China and serves in various scientific and professional institutions, as well as several academic journals.
