The "Land and Sea Coordination Key Zone,Territorial Spatial Planning and Governance Engineering Technology Innovation Center" is a national ministry-affiliated science and technology innovation platform, which is approved by the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources in 2022 and led by Tianjin University to construct. The center focuses on the bottleneck problems and practical needs of Chinese land and sea coordination, and conducts research on application basics and common key technologies in the field of Territorial and Spacial Planning and Governance in key areas. It is the first domestic research institution in this field to deeply integrate industry, academia, and research. The center now has three core R&D departments, which work collaboratively under the guidance of multiple academicians. Also, the R&D capabilities and engineering level have been highly recognized by the industry experts.
