This series of lectures has involved traditional architectural protection technologies, protection ideas, traditional architectural research, and protection examples, etc., it shows the inheritance process and protection design of traditional buildings in an all -round way and deeply taps the rich ideas and Design method. It further direct the students to better understand traditional buildings, establish a concept of nature, humanities, and space.

In terms of protecting technology, Professor Pamela Jerome of Columbia University shared his experience in Witt Water Villa from the perspective of materials and engineering; Professor FranceSco FASSI of Politecnico di Milano shared his rich experience in digitization of architectural heritage and the new understanding of digital tools.

Regarding protecting ideas, Professor Songtianyang of Tokyo University starts from the multiple traditional construction protection cases he participated in and shared his views on the reconstruction of the inheritance; Professor Fanghe Manchu of Northeast University in Japan shared the views on the use of architectural heritage. Teacher Françoise Ged, the head of the Contemporary Chinese Architecture Observation Station of Architecture and Heritage City, shared the concept of architectural heritage and its management methods. In terms of traditional architectural research, Mr. Christine Mengin, showed how Western scholars can understand and study Tianjin City and landmark buildings through the travel manual; Teacher FENG Shida and WEN Ziren introduced their study of the Painted Album of the Garden of Artless Administration, analyzed the relationship between the spatial spatial space of Tu Yong and the classical garden space.

As for traditional architectural protection cases, Teacher Feng Jin presented the use of the development and utilization of San Barbara in the small town in the United States; Professor Maria Gravar-Barbas, Université de Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) shared the history of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the development of cultural tourism, and its current problems in management, moreover the cultural tourism development and management of World Heritage Land in France; Teacher Chauffert-YVART, the preservation director of the Heritage Architecture of the French Ministry of Culture, shared the new cases of City Bayina and City Honon. In the lecture, experts and professors also communicated with the teachers and students participating in the conference and enjoyed some fruitful conversation.
