Wang Miao is a Landscape Architecture lecturer at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. Her main research field includes Regional cultural heritages, Environmental protection and Regeneration. She has also been teaching design studio on the “basis of architecture designs”, with a focus on landscape architecture and cultural heritages protection. Her recent research projects include landscape design of parks, squares, waterfront areas, and ecology in landscape and structures, she has extensive experience in projects based on the protection and regeneration of regional cultural heritages.
Dr Miao holds a professional Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Design, a Master’s Degree and a Doctor of Engineering qualification in Environmental Art Design from Tianjin University. In 2011 she was also on an exchange program at Chung Yuan Christian University.
