Dr. WEI Likai is an architecture lecturer at the School of Architecture, Tianjin University, as well as a researcher at the Digital Design Institute of the School. His research interests focus on computer-aided architectural design (CAAD), digital architectural representation, architectural shape & space grammar, and digital fabrication.
Dr. Wei received his PhD, Master’s and Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Architecture from Tianjin University, and has also worked as a visiting scholar in the Technical University of Munich. He is now working on various research topics on architectural digital representation, 3d printing, and robotic fabrication. He teaches architectural design and digital representation courses to undergraduate students at the University. Dr. Wei is also an experienced architect and urban designer, his design works, and publications have won national and provincial awards in China.
